| The General Body elects the Members of Governing Council through a postal ballot system at the time of its Annual General Meeting from amongst Members enjoying voting rights. |

| The Governing Council from among its Members elects the Executive Committee. The Executive Committee consists of 9 Members; one of them should have expertise in legal matters and another in financial affairs. |

| The Governing Council has the right to: |

Decide on necessary aspects for achievement or furtherance of objectives of INTACH |

Make
bye laws regarding properties, election, members,
appointments, budget, auditors and setting up chapters |

Amend
and modify byelaws |

Delegate its powers to the EC |
 |

| The Executive Committee has the right to: |

Decide on membership applications |
 |
Appoint staff |
 |
Nominate representative |

Appoint sub-committees for specific purposes |

Consider budget |
 |
Consider annual report and annual accounts |

Consider annual programmes to be undertaken |

| The General Body facilitates: |

Election of the Chairman and/or other Members of the Governing Council by postal ballot |

Consider and adopt annual report |

Consider and adopt audited accounts for the outgoing year |
